l WiMAX Senior CAPC Box test Engineer - 1 HC

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectation:

· Writing test cases in DOORs for functional, performance and integration

· Setting up the necessary test equipment (such as AP, CPE , CAPC, EMS, invoking simulators, installation of the necessary load to test, generate call traces)

· Writing test scripts and support part of system admin work on WMX system

· Perform CAPC Box Test , Performance Test

· Carrying out tests (some automated, some manual)

· Perform System Test, Integration Test, Unit Test (where applicable), Performance Testing, Field Trial

· Initial analysis of problems found

· Writing test reports

· Verification of bug fixes

· Inter-operability testing to ensure product works with newly released Wimax loads

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

· More than 5 years structured software testing experience is required

· The ability to interpret published detail requirements and design efficient test cases

· Ability to work independently and have strong self-research skills

· A good understanding of WIMAX/GSM/CDMA and Telecommunication networks in general

· Experience of writing test strategy, test cases and test scripts

· A methodical approach to carrying out tests and recording the results

· Good knowledge in UNIX , shell scripts and SQL

· Good knowledge on software development life cycle

· Knowledge in Test automation tools

· Candidate must have the confidence and drive to work alongside development teams as either the sole tester or part of a small test team

· Should be comfortable working in a dynamic and technically complex domain.

· Excellent command in English, verbal and written

One or more of the following would be desirable:

· Sun Solaris 8/9/10 System Administration knowledge or certification

· PERL scripting

· Informix database servers

· JRE and Java knowledge

· XML

· Experience in WIMAX/CDMA/GSM / infrastructure especially the wireless access network

· Experience in the use of DOORS Test repository.

l WiMAX Senior System Test Engineer - 1 HC

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectation:

· Writing test cases in DOORs for functional, performance and integration

· Setting up the necessary system test environment (such as AP, CPE , CAPC, EMS, NMS, VOIP, invoking simulators, installation of the necessary load to test, generate call traces)

· Writing test scripts and support part of system admin work on WMX system.

· Perform System Test, Integration Test, Performance Test

· Initial analysis of problems found

· Writing test reports and validation on bug fixes

· Inter-operability testing to ensure product works with newly released WiMAX loads

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

· More than 2 years structured software testing experience is required.

· The ability to interpret published detail requirements and design efficient test cases.

· Ability to work independently and have strong self-research skills.

· A good understanding of WIMAX/GSM/CDMA and Telecommunication networks in general.

Job Description:
Looking for experienced embedded software Engineer with solid telecommunication background.

Job Responsibilities:
Design, implement and test LTE infrastructure component software. 

Job Requirements:

· Strong C/C++ programming on RTOS.

· Good knowledge in Object Oriented Analyze & Design. 

· 3+ years experience in Wireless infrastructure software development or testing.

· Familiar with OFDM and LTE/WiMax profiles especially on LTE/WiMax Scheduler developing is a plus.

· Good work attitude and teamwork spirit

· Strong communication (English) and interpersonal skills.

· Quick learning skills

· BS/MS in computer or Telecommunication.
